50 years of Aislin

Every Monday in 2017, the Montreal Gazette features an Aislin cartoon drawn over the past 50 years, with a backstory for each.

This cartoon of Jean Marchand appeared in Maclean's magazine in October 1970.

The fifth was drawn in 2004

The fourth was drawn in 1973.

The third was drawn in 1982.


The second is a caricature of Jean Drapeau published in 1974.

The first is a caricature of Jacques Parizeau published on September 16, 1988.
